Fox Sports’ Undisputed host Skip Bayless is not known for having a high level of self-awareness. The longtime sports talk show host loves attention, even if he is constantly contradicting himself.

That’s what happened Sunday night, when he accused the Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and his brother’s girlfriend, pop megastar Taylor Swift, of “self-promotion”, in a truly unbelievable tweet.

The backstory here is that Jason Kelce had an incredible time at the Kansas City Chiefs-Buffalo Bills game alongside his family and Taylor Swift supporting his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

When I say an incredible time, I mean it. Kelce was seen taking shots out of a bowling ball pregame, and jumped into the crowd during the game after Travis scored a touchdown.

To me, that’s just guys being dudes. I really don’t think Jason Kelce would care if anyone saw or if everyone saw it. That’s just who he is.

But, to Skip Bayless, if the attention isn’t on him for every possible moment, he will try his best to get it back on himself. That’s why he tweets incredibly dumb things about LeBron James, and burns his Cowboys gear every year when they inevitably get eliminated in the playoffs. Apparently, supporting your brother and being a man of the people is just a bridge too far when it comes to attention-seeking behavior.

Skip Bayless would do this too, that is if he could even take the trash talk that NFL fans would talk to him at an NFL. But, NFL fans by and large dislike him, and he knows he can’t show his face at public events like this without significant backlash.

Not to worry, Skip. The Chiefs won, Jason Kelce will likely be in Baltimore next week for the AFC Championship Game, and I’m sure you will find something else to complain about on this topic.
