You can go ahead and file this one under “things you didn’t expect to see today.”

Fox Sports Undisputed host Skip Bayless says he’s completed writing an “extremely controversial” screenplay that he hopes will star friend and rapper Lil Wayne.

Bayless revealed news of the work in an interview with People Magazine.

“I have written a screenplay that I just finished before we relaunched our show, and my dream is to get it made,” Bayless said in the interview.

Lil Wayne then said that he would “definitely be starring in that,” to which Bayless responded: “he means that honestly.”

It didn’t take long for Bayless to reveal more details about the screenplay.

“I wrote it miraculously quickly,” he recently said on The Skip Bayless Show. “I rarely like anything that I write, especially on a grander scale…This screenplay entitled ‘Savior’ is the second thing that I love, maybe to a fault.”

Bayless didn’t reveal any details about the plot. But he did state that it was controversial and that studios may not want to pick it up.

“It is extremely, extremely controversial,” Bayless said. “I have no idea if I could ever get this movie made because it is so deeply controversial on so many levels that I’m not yet comfortable divulging.”

He stated that he had begun writing previously, but “scuffled” at the time. Bayless then began writing again while Undisputed was on hiatus.

“I just felt powered by a higher power. I wrote feverishly,” he said. “For once, I really like and believe in everything about this screenplay.”

Who knows whether Bayless’ screenplay ever sees the light of day. Or if it even really exists.

But one thing is certain, a Skip Bayless-written movie starring Lil Wayne is something that we are all the way in on seeing
