Snoop Dogg Doing Play-By-Play For The Los Angeles Kings Is The Most Perfect Thing In Sports History

Jimmy Kimmel Live

Snoop Dogg isn’t just one of the biggest rappers of all-time, but the Dogfather himself also happens to be one helluva big sports fan, too. Often seen on the sidelines at USC Trojans football games or rooting on his favorite NFL team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Snoop’s love affair with sports is well-known. Hell, the dude even started a youth football association which has helped some big names get their start in the sport, and who have then gone on to big-time colleges and even the NFL.

But don’t think that Snoop Dogg’s only into football, guys, because the rapper showed that he has some love for the sports of hockey, too — and it was one of the best things I’ve ever witnessed in 34-plus years on this planet.

Sitting in the broadcast booth during the Los Angeles Kings and Pittsburgh Penguins game, Snoop Dogg delivered some expert analysis while encouraging some tussling on the ice between the teams. It was unfiltered and raw, and was exactly the type of thing you’d expect from a fan who was either in the crowd or watching on TV. Take a look at the clip below, via Twitter/jbillinson.

Like I said, amazing, bros.

It’s too bad that Snoop Dogg can’t do this more often, because he’s a damn natural — and hella entertaining. Maybe he can teach that terrible Monday Night Football crew a thing or two about how to do a good job, because guys like Jason Witten and Bogger McFarland could use a little help there. Anyway, let’s just hope that Snoop gets a couple more chances at doing this, because it makes watching the game pretty awesome.
