Sophie Cunningham is firing shots at A’ja Wilson.
During game 2 of the WNBA playoffs between the Aces and the Fever, Wilson got into a heated confrontation with a fan sitting courtside in Indiana.
“If I see a man come at me and pointing at me… I don’t give a damn what you said … It’s unacceptable.”
If an NBA player goes into the stands they’d 100% get suspended right? Aja Wilson did exactly that and nothing will happen with the WNBA. Tried getting him tossed for pointing. pic.twitter.com/MEBsZizL7f

The WNBA did not punish Wilson for the incident, and she went on to have a monster Game 3 to eliminate the Fever from the playoffs.
During her most recent podcast appearance, Cunningham took aim at Wilson over her incident with the fan.
“Like grow up, what are we doing? We ask all these things and then once people come out and support us, we get mad and then its inappropriate”

Cunningham went on to accuse the WNBA of giving Wilson preferential treatment by not suspending her over the incident.
“That could have called for a suspension. But she’s like the Lebron James of our league so of course they’re not going to suspend her. There’s definitely a double standard.”
