5-Foot-10 South Carolina Football Freshman Flaunts Insane Hops With Gravity-Defying Frisbee Grab

Rowe skied over teammates to make an incredible grab during the action. It was his official introduction to a number of Gamecocks fans.

Rowe was highly recruited as a high school prospect, landing a four-star rating by 247 Sports. The Concord, North Carolina native chose South Carolina over offers from the likes of Pitt, Miami, Maryland, and West Virginia.

Brian Rowe is an athlete. You can read about his three-sport high school success on his South Carolina football bio.

As a hooper, he averaged 13.2 points per game as a junior. He flashed his impressive vertical with high-flying slam dunks over helpless defenders. Not much has changed since arriving to campus in Columbia.

Rowe was also a track and field star at Jay M. Robinson High School. He stands just 5-foot-10 according to his recruiting profile. He recorded a 5-foot-10-inch high jump while competing as a sophomore.

He can jump over himself!

Brian Rowe, Jr. has crazy hops.

Rowe can high-point a football like no other. It should prove extremely beneficial at the next level. South Carolina superstar quarterback LaNorris Sellers will certainly welcome the wideout to the roster this fall.

He defies gravity with his ability to hang in the air. Nothing is out of his catch radius!

Sellers and Co. were seen enjoying the offseason with a friendly intersquad game of ultimate frisbee this week. The team bonding activity was the perfect way to pass the time before season’s start.

Little did the Gamecocks know that it would provide another highlight reel opportunity for their new pass catcher. Rowe might need to add a fourth sport to his resume!

Once again, Brian Rowe, Jr. has ridiculous hops. Social media users wouldn’t believe the vertical if they hadn’t seen it with their own eyes.

South Carolina is set to kick off the 2025 college football season against Virginia Tech in late August. We’ll see if Rowe sees the field as a rookie.
