Over the weekend some interesting news broke about J.J. Abrams’ upcoming Star Wars movie: The production will be taking two weeks off while Harrison Ford recovers from an injury to his leg that was sustained when a piece of the Millennium Falcon fell on him. Get well soon, Han Solo. Meanwhile, Star Wars fans couldn’t possibly be more excitement for Disney’s re-boot of the franchise. Kevin Smith, for example, recently called his trip to the Star Wars VII set “a religious experience,” breaking down in tears while describing it.
Earlier today we featured graphic designer Brandon Hubschman‘s concept logos imagining the marriage between each city’s NFL logos and NBA logos. When I was looking through his portfolio, I couldn’t help but notice these extremely badass Star Wars-themed football helmet concepts. Hubschman’s designs envision what it might look like if Storm Trooper, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, the Imperial Walkers, and R2D2 battled in a galaxy far, far away under the Dark Lord of the Sith powers of Roger Goddell.
