Steelers quarterback, Kenny Pickett, has concluded the 2023 pre-season on an exceptional note, impressing Pittsburgh fans with his standout performance.
Throughout the pre-season, Pickett demonstrated remarkable prowess on the field, boasting a perfect 158.3 QB rating.
Pickett completed 13 out of 15 passes, he accumulated an impressive 199 yards and secured two touchdowns, all while playing a clean with zero interceptions.
His impressive accuracy rate of 86.6% and an average of 13.2 yards per attempt underscore his ability to connect effectively with his targets.
Notably, Pickett led five drives, each culminating in a touchdown.

Pickett, a first-round pick in the 2022 Draft, experienced a mixed rookie season last year, marked by mostly down statistics. Despite that, his dedication and hard work during the offseason paid off, evident in his substantial improvement during the current pre-season
It’s worth noting that most of his pre-season appearances were against backup players, but Pickett’s performance nevertheless speaks volumes about his development.
In addition to refining his on-field skills, Pickett’s commitment to physical preparation was evident as he reportedly bulked up from 213 pounds to 226 pounds over the course of the offseason.
This additional mass may contribute additional durability and strength this season.
