Steelers’ Vince Williams Threatens Bengals’ Vontaze Burfict on Twitter For Injuring Le’veon Bell

During the Bengals/Steelers game on Sunday, Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell tore his MCL after he was tackled close to the sidelines by Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict.

Bell is now out for the year and some Steelers players are not happy with Burfict for injuring their star player.

Here’s Steelers’ LB Vince Williams threatening Burfict on Twitter.

Burfict didn’t seem fazed by Williams’ threat

“”

After the game, Burfict spoke with the media and said that he didn’t intentionally hurt Bell and felt the tackle was clean.

“We won, he’s mad they lost,” he said. “I have nothing to say about it. It was a clean hit. Le’Veon is a friend of mine. I didn’t intentionally mean to hurt him. It’s football.”

After looking at the replay of the injury it doesn’t seem like Burfict did anything wrong on the play.

We’ll see if the league has anything to say about Williams’ threat in the next few days.
