Steph Curry is a legend. The Golden State Warriors guard revolutionized the game of basketball with outside shooting that we haven’t seen before and haven’t seen since.

But, he has been absolutely terrible late in playoff games in his career. And, that continued in a big way, as he choked down the stretch in their loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals, 104-101.

Steph Curry has had some incredible moments in these NBA playoffs, like his virtuoso game 7 against the Sacramento Kings when he scored an NBA game 7 record 50 points.

During Monday’s pivotal game 4 against the Lakers, with the Warriors trailing in the series 2-1, was not one of them.

Yes, the box score looks okay. He had 31 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds.

But, it took him 30 shots to score those 31 points, and the fourth quarter was just terrible. He was 4-11 from the field and the Warriors only scored 17 points in the quarter. That putrid offensive effort blew a 7-point lead heading into the 4th.

Still, Steph Curry had chances in the final minute to win the game for the Warriors. But, like he always has in the playoffs, he didn’t make the big shot.

First off, great defense by Anthony Davis. But, two big misses by Steph Curry, and a turnover on their final possession on a broken play, have put the defending champions on the brink of elimination.

And, people on social media clowning Steph Curry for his choke.

The Lakers will look to finish off the Warriors on Wednesday night in San Francisco.
