In case you weren’t aware, Michigan Wolverines head football coach Jim Harbaugh is not dead.

It certainly would be understandable if you thought Jim Harbaugh was dead, based on the actions of his coaching staff, players, and university president.

The way they have been behaving, especially interim head coach Sherrone Moore after the Wolverines’ win over Penn State on Saturday, would lead many people to think something tragic had happened to Harbaugh.

Moore broke down crying in the post-game interview with Jenny Taft, dropping curse words and basically making a spectacle of himself.

“I want to thank the Lord. I want to thank Coach Harbaugh,” Moore said while choking up with tears in his eyes.

“F—— love you, man! I love the s— out of you, man! We did this for you!” Moore shouted while pointing at the camera.

It was quite a scene.

The fact of the matter, however, is that Jim Harbaugh is very much alive and healthy and will be coaching the Wolverines during this week and next, just not on the next two Saturdays when their games are being played.

Which is why, even Stephen A. Smith wanted to know, why THE HELL was the Michigan coach crying?

“I don’t know why the hell the coach is on national TV crying like that,” Smith said Monday morning on Get Up. “I don’t understand that.

“What are you crying for? Stop it. You beat Penn State, which we expected you to do, you’re going to beat Maryland, which we expect you to do. We’ll see what you do at Ohio State, but you got a coach that’s still eligible to coach in the postseason if you make it to the College Football Playoff. Which I don’t think they deserve.”

To answer Stephen A. Smith’s question, we send it over to The Matt Barrie Show for an explanation.
