Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is after people criticizing his quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, no matter who they are.

Hill took a swing at egomaniac sports commentator Stephen A. Smith during an appearance on his podcast ‘It Needed To Be Said’ after Stephen A. said that all Tua does is throw 2-yard passes and they end up going for long touchdowns, so he doesn’t deserve to be the MVP of the league.

Hill made it clear that’s wrong, stating, “If you watched the game, none of our routes are two yards. For Stephen A. Smith to go out of his way to say Tua isn’t worthy of being MVP is crazy to me.”

In response, Smith chimed in wth a hint of frustration, during his show, FirstTake: “I’m a reporter, bro. To accuse me of not watching the games, Tyreek Hill, please watch your mouth. You don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Tyreek Hill is having an outstanding season, leading the NFL in receiving yards with 814 and having an outstanding 19.4 yards per catch average. Hill’s set a goal of reaching 2,000 yards this season – that seems attainable, given his performance through six games.

As for the Miami Dolphins, they boast a 5-1 record, and Tua Tagovailoa is excelling in several key statistical categories, including passer rating, passing touchdowns, passing yards, touchdown-to-attempt ratio, yards per attempt, and yards per completion.

The Dolphins are gearing up to face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7, where Tua will try to put more distance for himself in the MVP race.
