Last week, footage of a young Carolina Panthers fan having an emotional breakdown over the departure of longtime wide receiver Steve Smith made its way around the internet faster than Mike Tolbert grabs a second plate at a buffet. After all: Kids are hilarious when they’re distraught.
But things got better for 7-year-old Gavin today when he and his family appeared on Good Morning America. Smith, now with Baltimore, was nice enough to swing by and surprise his young fan with a Ravens jersey and some kind words.
Stand up move.
The lesson here is that crying in a viral video will solve all your immediate problems.
