Only a fool would say Russell Westbrook is the best player in the NBA. But only a bigger fool would say he’s not the most entertaining. The Oklahoma City Thunder guard — and human rubber band of energy — threw down the dunk of the NBA Playoffs last night.
After blowing by Kawhi Leonard, Westbrook elevated like a rocket and somehow slammed the ball with authority even though it was slipping down his arm. This is not something a normal person could do.
The dunk was the sole bright spot in an otherwise bummer of a night for the Thunder, who were blown out of the gym by the Spurs and now find themselves on the brink of elimination.
