The Phoenix Suns made a massive move on Sunday after acquiring Bradley Beal via trade.

However, it sounds like the franchise could be in the works for another big move to balance out the roster.

During a guest appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Shams Charania explained the Suns have been fielding trade offers for Deandre Ayton since the Bradley Beal move.

The details of these alleged offers are unknown right now, but it sounds like Ayton has the attention of multiple teams across the league.

As of right now, Phoenix doesn’t have a great roster outside of their starting lineup. They must find a way to acquire talented depth if they hope to be true contenders next season.

A Deandre Ayton trade makes a ton of sense for the Suns. Especially if they can get some kind of two-for one deal, giving them a defensive-minded center and facilitating point guard.

Additionally, it’s not clear which teams are making offers, but that news should come to light relatively soon.

But, as Charania points out, we’ll have to wait and see. There is still a chance Phoenix keeps Ayton on the roster.

If that’s the case, then the front office must find the right players through free agency. That’ll be a difficult task though, considering the Suns have three guys on the roster on max deals.

At the end of the day, the Suns have plenty of options on the table and conducting a Deandre Ayton trade is certainly in play.
