Talladega Superspeedway will welcome Ricky Bobby and Cal Naughton back to the track this weekend, in form of Chase Briscoe and Ryan Preece. The two Stewart-Haas Racing teammates will rock special paint schemes for the YellaWood 500 NASCAR Cup Series race this weekend in homage to the 2006 comedy ‘Talladega Nights’ with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly.

Shake and Bake is BACK in NASCAR!

Ricky Bobby famously drove the Wonder Bread car. Cal Naughton drove the Old Spice car.

This weekend, Bobby will be replaced by Preece while Naughton is replaced by Briscoe. The former will be behind the wheel of the No. 41 Wonder Bread car while the latter drives the No. 14 Old Spice car.

They both drive Ford Mustangs. They both wanna go fast.

Briscoe and Preece will replicate the iconic paint schemes while back on the NASCAR track where it all began.

Preece can’t wait to get behind the wheel.

Talladega Nights is one movie that most people have seen and laughed with, and these really cool paint schemes will bring back those memories. Getting to have my teammate, Chase Briscoe, in the Old Spice car makes it all come together. The movie remains relevant after all these years, and there’s no better track than Talladega to work with your teammates. We’re going to have a lot of fun this weekend and I hope we get the No. 41 Wonder Bread Ford Mustang in victory lane.

— Ryan Preece

Briscoe was once sponsored by Old Spice. He is thrilled that the brand chose to run it back.

Talladega Nights is one of my all-time favorite movies, and I’m really glad that Old Spice was on board to come back to Stewart-Haas Racing. We couldn’t do this Talladega Nights deal without them, and as a Tony Stewart fan who has gone on to drive his car, it’s really special to be the one to bring it back for all the fans.

Here is a better look at both cars and their respective paint schemes for the weekend:

The YellaWood 500 begins at 2:00 p.m. ET on Sunday and will air on NBC. Can Briscoe and Preece shake and bake their way into the winner’s circle at Talladega?!
