Taylor Swift, Brittany Mahomes Fans Are Duking It Out On Social Media

While many fans are, rightfully, concerned what lengths Brittany Mahomes might go to in trying to reclaim spotlight from Taylor Swift in Kansas City, others are already fighting on social media over who is the Queen of KC now.

Numerous fans of Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, appear to feel personally slighted by Taylor Swift’s appearance at Sunday’s Chiefs game and are taking it out on some Swifties.

Brittany, ever the lightning rod for controversy, posted several photos of herself standing in her suite at the Chiefs game on Sunday. (She has the embed function turned off on her account.)

“Did you get to meet Taylor?!” one of Brittany’s fans asked in the comments.

“You mean did Taylor get to meet her? This is Britney’s town! Not a Taylor concert,” another fan shouted.

“Yeah, that’s not how this works… that’s not how any of this works… the world’s (arguably) biggest pop star and you are saying narcissist Britney owns the town? Yeah, that’s called delusional sweetie!” a Swiftie fired back.

“No…this is Taylor’s city now…” another commented.

And on and on it goes.

Then, of course, there were the people who just love to take anything Brittany Mahomes does and crap all over her.

“How many pics do you need of yourself standing there?” one person asked.

“Vain much?” asked another.

“Between yesterday and today that’s over 22 pictures of your self. Not normal. Get a charity,” someone else wrote.

“Poor thing. There’s a new queen in town!” shouted an obvious Swiftie.

Mixed in all the vitriol was a couple of actual rational comments that, based on the bickering, probably got lost in the conversation.

“Why do we as society have to have a narrative where women must be one upping each other?” someone asked. “Brittany is beautiful, Taylor is beautiful and queens support queens. This comment section is ridiculous. Brittany you look fabulous and Taylor looked fabulous.”

Another fan asked, “Y’all weird as hell, follow people just to talk s*** on them?!”
