Taylor Swift went out of her way to help the family of the victim of the shooting in downtown Kansas City.

On Wednesday, one person was killed, and nearly two dozen were injured in a shooting that occurred at the end of the Chiefs Super Bowl victory parade. Police have ruled out terrorism and say that the incident “appeared to be a dispute between several people that ended in gunfire.”

The person killed in the shooting, Lisa Lopez-Galvan, was a Kansas City radio DJ and a mother of two.

A fundraiser was set up to benefit Lopez-Galvan’s family with a goal of $75,000.

This fund has been set up to benefit the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan. Lisa was celebrating the Chiefs Super Bowl Victory parade when senselessly killed. She is survived by two children and her husband of 22 years. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to so many. We ask that you continue to keep her family in your prayers as we grieve the loss of her life. This fund will help provide vital financial support to her family as they process this unthinkable tragedy. Any amount is appreciated.

After being made aware of the fundraiser, Swift made sure to exceed the GoFundMe goal by donating $100k and left a few notes for the family.

“Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift.”
