Kanye West had some big plans for the Super Bowl, but unfortunately, Taylor Swift put an end to them.
On Sunday, West stunned fans when he spent $7 million for a minimalist Super Bowl ad that featured him a car shouting out Yeezy.com
“Hey y’all, this is Ye, and this is my commercial,” he said. “And since we spent all the money on the commercial spot, we actually – we didn’t spend any money on the actual commercial. But the idea is I want you to go to Yeezy.com.”
Among the mass of cool ad at the SuperBowl, Kanye West especially stood out.
He bought the slot for $7 million to show a video recorded on the front camera in which he pronounces his website’s name.

Not only did Kanye buy a Super Bowl ad, but according to former NFL player Brandon Marshall, Ye had planned to sit in front of Swift during the game. Swift apparently found out about Kanye’s plans and had him kicked out of the stadium before any drama could go down.
“Kanye West pulls up to Vegas buys a ticket right in fromt of Taylor Swift’s booth, he had a mask on with his logo on the mask. Taylor Swift gets p-ssed off and she makes a call or two. Everybody’s involved, he gets kicked out the stadium…He tried to leverage her celebrity…that’s what he tried to do, sit on front of Taylor Swift.”
Considering the long history of beef between Kanye and Swift, it’s probably for the best that they didn’t sit near each other during the Super Bowl on Sunday.
