The Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift NFL crossover is more-or-less finished for the 2023 NFL season, following the Chiefs’ triumph in Super Bowl LVIII over the weekend against the San Francisco 49ers.

But, a piece of truly rare memorabilia related to the NFL’s biggest side plot of the 2023 season has become available. A Travis Kelce jersey signed by both he and Taylor Swift will be hitting the charity auction block soon.

Here’s the New York Post with more.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have teamed up for a charity gift of a lifetime — the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s jersey, signed by both the player himself and his pop-superstar girlfriend.

The couple donated the highly coveted item to the Guelph Wish Fund for Children — a charity serving children under the age of 19 who are living with significant illnesses in Guelph or Wellington County in Ontario, Canada —with the item to go up for auction on Saturday, Page Six Style has learned.

There is a catch, though. The item will only be available for bidding by those in attendance at the charity auction. There will be no online bidding.

I’m sure the item will go for an unreal amount of money. But could you imagine the price if it was up for online bidding? I am bad at ballparking these kind of things, but I have to believe it would come in at least six figures, possibly seven.

If the relationship lasts, and it looks like it will, there will be plenty of these signed jerseys in circulation in a decade. But, let’s say, the pair suffer an unfortunate breakup. This would be an incredibly rare piece of memorabilia from a monster moment in the lore of American pop culture.

Really the only comparison I could find was a signed baseball by Marilyn Monroe and Joltin’ Joe DiMaggio. Sotheby’s has one listed, for an estimate of $300k-$400k.

Someone will be the lucky winner of an incredible piece of sports and pop culture memorabilia.
