Things have been pretty quiet on the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce front ever since the Kansas City Chiefs got blown out in in the Super Bowl. Since then, the football world has been waiting to see if Kelce is going to return to play next season and T-Swizzle has finally had some downtime after performing 149 shows during her over a year-and-a-half concert tour.

It turns, according to a new report by RadarOnline.com, there is a reason for the relative silence from the couple. They are, according to the media outlet, “rethinking” their future after the “heartbreaking weekend” at the Super Bowl that made them “re-evaluate” their relationship.

Apparently, Taylor Swift was pretty shocked when she got booed at the Super Bowl after being one of the most popular people in the entire world over the past couple of years.

“Just when she was on top of the world after that fabulous Eras Tour, boom! She gets hit with some serious public backlash,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “I mean, the girl really thinks of herself as a decent person, always trying to do the right thing, so this whole ordeal must be super unsettling for her.

“Rumor has it that she’s been advised to keep a low profile for now. Can you imagine? It’s almost like she’s been branded as the bad guy, and that’s gotta hurt!

“Things have definitely taken a weird turn for her and Travis – hello, first big bump in their otherwise fun romance! They’ve been having some seriously awkward chats with their teams about when they should step out in public and what the vibe should even be like. Talk about taking the romance out of the relationship.

“And let’s be real, Taylor is not one to back down easily. But with all this hate coming from the public lately, it’s leaving her a little shaken. Friends and family are on high alert, worried about the couple and hoping they can navigate through this tricky phase in their love saga.”

On the plus side of the equation for both Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has still got their backs.

“She’s a good girl,” Reid said in an interview this week on PFT Live. “She handles that whole thing the right way. That’s a tough deal. She does a great job of handling it. Kelce, I think, does a great job with handling it.

“So, she’s part of the team, like the other girlfriends and wives, they’re part of it. And that’s all part of the process there.”
