TCU has had one of the great Cinderella seasons in college football history. The team was 200:1 to win the national championship just four months ago.

But, they find themselves playing in the national title game as we speak at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Nobody thought they would be here, but here they are.

They will have to beat the defending national champions and best program in the sport, the Georgia Bulldogs. And, at kick time, TCU was a 13 1/2 point underdog, the largest of any national championship game.

That’s a big enough hole to overcome, but now they won’t have one of their star players, as superstar back Kendre Miller will miss the game.

Miller hurt his leg in the Fiesta Bowl upset win over the Michigan Wolverines on New Years’ Eve. He thought he might be able to give it a go earlier in the week.

And, he tried to give it a go tonight.

But, it wasn’t to be. If the Horned Frogs are going to complete one of the great seasons in sports history, they will do it without their star.
