In the fourth quarter of the Rams-Vikings game, Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater scrambled out of the pocket and ran for a few yards. As he went to slide he was hit by Rams safety Lemarcus Joyner with a late elbow to the head.
Bridgewater briefly lost consciousness and had to leave the game to be tested for a concussion.
Update: Vikings coach Mike Zimmer called Rams’ Gregg Williams for the play and called it a cheap shot.
“If we were on the street, we probably would have had a fight.” Zimmer also references the “history” of “their defensive coordinator.

Joyner was penalized for the play but was not ejected. We’re pretty sure he’s going to get a call from the league after the game for this hit.
