The budding romance between DeAndre Hopkins and Iggy Azalea appears to be over.
I know, I know. This is a sad, horrible day for everyone who believes in love. I mean, if these two aren’t capable of loving each other, there truly is no hope for the rest of us.
Earlier this week, it appeared that the Texans wide receiver and the pop star were in a relationship when they were both seem openly flirting on Instagram.

Iggy even went on a radio show in Miami to confirm she was dating Hopkins. Which we can all agree is a bold move if you’re not actually dating someone or if you don’t have confirmation that the person wants to be public about the relationship.
Radio Host: We gotta talk about him, DeAndre Hopkins, are we dating? What’s the situation?
Iggy Azalea: Yeah, we’re in a relationship.
Immediately after the interview went viral Hopkins jumped on Instagram and shut down Iggy in public and claimed he wasn’t interested in clout chasing.
His response was completely void of vagueness. He made it blatantly clear that he was a single man.
Iggy then took to Twitter and got in her feelings after Hopkins shot her down. To say her response was that of a really bummed out person is an understatement.
