Calling your shot before a massive, long-standing rivalry game between two college teams is a bold move. Because if your team doesn’t win then you only have yourself to blame when the trolling begins after the game.

This is a lesson that popular sports TikToker Lauren Ashley found out on Saturday after the 12th ranked Oklahoma Sooners upset the 3rd ranked Texas Longhorns 34-30 in the annual Red River Rivalry game held at the Cotton Bowl.

Ashley’s shot calling began on Saturday morning when she posted a TikTok video hyping up her big time allegiance to the Longhorns in the Red River Rivalry.

“I can’t stress this enough, and I just don’t think you guys get it,” Lauren Ashley told her over 100,000 TikTok fans, “but it’s a really bad day to be wearing red.

“Texas-OU, my favorite day of the year. I’m feeling a little… {parts her hair to show off her ‘I’m horny’ t-shirt in support of the Longhorns}.”

“You know what I mean?

“But we’re running it back.

“Quinn Ewers will be dunking on Dillon Gabriel’s head today. We’re keeping that golden cowboy hat.

“Will it be a little closer than last year? I’m hoping it is, for their sake.”

Oops. Turns out it was WAY closer.

In a follow-up TikTok video, we see Lauren Ashley at the Red River Rivalry game, still wearing her “I’m horny” Longhorns shirt, but this time with a downtrodden look on her face and a video caption that reads, “Not the best shirt to wear after a loss like that.”

“Top 5 most embarrassing experiences having to walk around with this shirt on after that loss. Chirps were being dished out like CP3 in the paint. Pain on pain”, Ashley wrote.

Ouch.
