The Texas Longhorns haven’t been relevant as a football program for several years now. They’ve had a coaching carousel which has led them down a path of 7 losses in 2016, 6 losses so far in 2017, 7 losses in 2015, 7 losses in 2014…You get the point.

The Longhorns should be a recruiting powerhouse and the #1 program in the great state of Texas based on their alumni base and history, but A&M’s move to the SEC has put a dent in recruiting that the Longhorns haven’t been able to overcome in recent years. The University of Texas Longhorns still remains one of the ‘great’ programs in all of College Football, and it will forever be one of the most-prized coaching jobs in all of sports. Now, they’re hoping to once again ascend to national prominence by pulling in blue-chip recruits thanks to a new $10 million football facility with includes a $7 million locker room:

Cork Gaines of Business Insider posted this article several days ago which shows HD behind-the-scenes photos of this unreal new locker room. Each locker within the locker room cost a whopping $8,700. Just think about that. How many people do you know whose entire bedroom set (bed, headboard, side tables, etc) cost $8,700?!

I HIGHLY suggest clicking that link above and checking out the new Longhorns’ $7 million locker room because when you see them back on the national stage in 3 or 4 years it will make a lot more sense. Players want to play at schools like Texas, Clemson, and Alabama. Recruits are enticed by these futuristic facilities and this new locker room is 100% going to get Texas back on track. You can take that to the bank.
