The first annual college football layoff rankings are in and the biggest loser was the BIG 12, having both co-champions of the conference Baylor and TCU being left out of the playoffs. TCU was ranked third last wweek and was leapfrogged by Ohio State for the final spot after Ohio State beat down Wisconsin in the Big 10 title game. The Big 12 has come under fire recently for not hosting a title game that woul have likely helped TCU or Baylor to have gotten in.
In the end first ranked Alabama will face fourth ranked Ohio State and second ranked Oregon will face third ranked FSU.
