There is absolutely nothing like sports in October. As far as I’m concerned, it’s the best month of the year on the sports calendar: Football in full swing, the World Series, basketball, hockey, NASCAR. You name it, it’s happened or happening.
Which brings us to today’s dramatic Penn State – Indiana game, in which Penn State royally cursed themselves with hubris around their new Turnover Thank You Card.
The game ended as a nail-biter in OT, with Indiana winning via 2-point conversion on a controversial call:

Truly a moment where the entire sports world held its breath.
Even Tiger Woods, playing in the Zozo Championship at Sherwood Golf Course in Sherman Oaks, California, stopped for a minute to watch while on the course.
The result is this incredible pic, captured by Daniel Rapaport from Golf Digest:

Man, that just encapsulates everything great about sports – the greatest to every play the game of golf taking a moment of pause to watch the end of a college football game while still on the course.
Also:
Barring something weird, gonna be Tiger and Phil tomorrow at Sunday at Sherwood.
They're a million back…but man, any time we get to watch Tiger and Phil play together on a Sunday…going to be a ton of fun.

The best part is that someone isn’t amused.

We’ve all been there.
