Tim Tebow Listens To ‘Moana’ While Working Out But That’s Not Even The Weirdest Thing On His Playlist

If you frequent the gym, you’ve probably encountered more than a few people who engage in some very questionable behavior, whether we’re talking about Selfie Guy, the supersetter who lays claim to every machine in the place, or the old dude who refuses to wear a towel when walking around the locker room.

While they don’t even come close to being as annoying as any of the aforementioned people, there’s one particular group of gym-goers who are— at least in my opinion— more insane than any others: the ones who don’t listen to music while working out.

I know there’s no reason I should be impacted by their personal decision but I can’t help but be amazed by anyone who manages to exercise without the aid of “Till I Collapse” (or some of the other songs that are most commonly found on gym playlists).

If you watch an Instagram video of a professional athlete showing off in the gym, there’s a very good chance they’ll be using some banger for motivation.

However, there are exceptions to this rule and one of them appears to be Tim Tebow.

On Tuesday, the former quarterback and current minor league baseball player stopped by Good Morning America to promote his new book and talked with Michael Strahan about a variety of topics— including the songs he turns to while working out.

Based on his answer, I have no idea how Tim Tebow manages to stay in shape.

Here’s his response in full if you can’t watch the video:

“I think some people would be shocked. I’m a little bit calmer in the gym, ’cause I’m usually pretty amped up. So I listen to softer stuff. Frank Sinatra, Disney music, Christian music. I think they’re even shocked when I say, I even like Moana.”

In fairness to Tebow, the song from Moana is kind of a jam.

However, I can’t for the life of me figure out how Frank Sinatra managed to make the cut (unless Tebow is pumping “New York, New York” in the hope he can eventually get called up to the Mets).
