DeAndre Hopkins is currently visiting with the New England Patriots, but the latest news suggests things are heating up for the free agent wide receiver.

He previously visited with the Tennessee Titans and reports indicate that the visit was a positive one.

It was so positive, in fact, that the front office made an official offer to Hopkins.

Buck Reising of AtoZ Sports confirms Mike Florio’s report that “the Titans did formally make Hopkins a financial offer while he was in Nashville.”

This news stems off of rumors that the Patriots might be closing in on a deal with DeAndre Hopkins during his visit in New England.

However, as of right now there are no reports indicating exactly what the offer on the table is.

Even so, it sounds like there could be a little bidding war between the Titans and Patriots. Both teams could use him on the roster. Especially considering neither team really has that great of a pass catching core.

Additionally, the Titans have been in touch with Hopkins since he left Nashville. AtoZ Sports claims “head coach Mike Vrabel told the media on Wednesday that the organization would ‘continue to follow up’ with Hopkins and ‘see where it goes.’

With that said, we might be nearing some breaking news regarding DeAndre Hopkins. Look for the star wide receiver to possibly accept an offer at some point in June.
