Tom Brady Has A $200 Cookbook About How You Can Eat Like A Four-Time Super Bowl Champ

Love him or hate him, Tom Brady wins at life. Pretty much everything he touches in life turns to gold, even when he’s bitchin’ about pool covers, selling mattresses, and rockin’ a trench coat.

So how does one eat like Tom Brady? What is the diet of a champion? A few months ago Brady’s chef Allen Campbell laid out what he makes for the Brady household, including his supermodel wife Gisele. via Boston.com:

So, 80 percent of what they eat is vegetables. [I buy] the freshest vegetables. If it’s not organic, I don’t use it. And whole grains: brown rice, quinoa, millet, beans. The other 20 percent is lean meats: grass-fed organic steak, duck every now and then, and chicken. As for fish, I mostly cook wild salmon.

It’s very different than a traditional American diet. But if you just eat sugar and carbs — which a lot of people do — your body is so acidic, and that causes disease. Tom recently outed Frosted Flakes and Coca-Cola on WEEI. I love that he did that. Sugar is the death of people.

Brady takes that diet to heart, recently releasing The TB12 Nutrition Manual. It has 89 recipes, including a gnarly one for avocado ice cream. Even at $200 a pop the cookbooks sold out within a few minutes. \

If avocado ice cream is what it takes to be as superior of a human being as Tom Brady is, sign me up. Just as long as I can FreshDirect it and not move a damn finger in actually trying to make such a concoction.
