Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 1-3 in their past 4 games and tied with the Atlanta Falcons at .500 in the NFC South Division. This is NOT where most of the NFL world expected the Buccaneers to be just a season-ish removed from winning the Super Bowl in Tom Brady’s first season in Tampa.

After Tom Brady and the Bucs struggled against the Pittsburgh Steelers with Mitchel Trubisky coming in to win the game, the NFL world was flabbergasted. Some people pointed the finger at Tom for potentially partying too late at Robert Kraft’s secret wedding in Manhattan over the weekend. Some others called Brady ‘scummy’ for keeping his arm warm and throwing practice passes while his teammate was being carted off the field with an injury.

Tom Brady’s Performance Is Getting Dragged By The NFL World For Poor Performance

None of that chatter is new to Brady. He’s been hearing people chirp him during downswings throughout his entire career. But this is a pretty damming stat when you consider we’re entering Week 7…

How bad is this in the context of the GOAT’s entire career? Pretty bad…

A few seasons ago, Buccaneers fans would’ve welcomed a 3-3 start to the season. But Tom Brady’s 3-3 start ties the worst start to a season of his career:

It wasn’t just Tom who was struggling on Sunday:

If anyone should be celebrating Tom Brady’s struggles it is Aaron Rodgers because Tom’s taking the spotlight off Aaron when they’ve both been pretty dismal to start the season:

It’s not fair to point to Tom Brady for the Buccaneers’ woes this season when you consider that they are averaging just 3.07 yards per carry when running the ball. The Bucs rank 32nd in the league in YPC. And according to Buccaneers reporter Greg Auman, no team in the NFL has averaged less than the Bucs’ 3.07 YPC since Tom Brady’s rookie season!

In Tom’s defense, he is 4th in the NFL this season in Passing Yards and has only thrown 1 interception to 8 touchdowns.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers can get back above .500 in Week 7 with a win against the Carolina Panthers. But unless the Buccaneers figure out how to start running the ball better, Brady will continue to struggle and everyone will keep pointing fingers at Tom.
