Tampa Bay Buccaneers Corner Logan Ryan Trolls Teammate Tom Brady With Autograph Request

The 2022 NFL season hasn’t exactly been a cakewalk for Tom Brady for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In fact, the 45-year-old had one of his worst statistical seasons in decades as the Bucs went just 8-9 on the year.

But Tampa still won the NFC South and Brady heads into the playoffs on the back of two of his best performances of the year against the Cardinals and Panthers.

While rumors continue to swirl about Brady leaving Tampa in free agency once the offseason begins, it appear the atmosphere in the Buccaneers’ locker room is no worse for the wear.

Brady lightened the mood recently when he gave an autographed football to teammate Logan Ryan. But there was more to it than meets the eye.

Ryan, who is in his first year with Tampa, spent four seasons as a teammate of Brady in New England. He then joined the Tennessee Titans from 2017-2019.

In the AFC Wild Card round of the 2019 season, Ryan and Titans took on Brady and the Patriots. And on Brady’s final pass of the game, and his final pass as a Patriots player, it was Ryan who made an interception before waltzing in to the end zone.

While it may be a moment that Brady wants to put out of his memory, Ryan certainly didn’t forget. The Bucs defensive back apparently approached Brady and asked him for an autograph recently. But he wanted to autograph on the ball that he intercepted.

Brady humorously obliged.

While the move is certainly a light-hearted one, it may also be a sign that Ryan believes Brady won’t be in Tampa much longer.

Meanwhile, Cowboys fans are probably hoping that Brady’s run as a Bucs player comes to the same end that his Patriots run did on Monday night.
