Tom Brady Throws Fire At Peyton Manning In Private Email

If there’s one thing we know about New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, it’s that he’s really competitive.

As a four-time Super Bowl champ who rose to fame after being a sixth-rounder 15 years ago, Tom Terrific has done everything one could in the game. And, whether you want to admit it or not, he’ll forever be remembered as one of the best ever.

Another guy who happens to share similar success is Brady’s quarterbacking buddy, Peyton Manning, who is on his way to holding nearly every major passing record in NFL history when all is said and done.

Of course, that is, unless Manning calls it quits before he can reach them.

That’s the thought of Brady, who, with a bunch of his personal emails made public during the DeflateGate investigation, believed that’s exactly what Peyton would do, throwing a friendly jab at the Broncos signal-caller by saying, per Boston.com:

“I’ve got another 7 or 8 years. He has 2. That’s the final chapter. Game on”

The email was sent to one of Brady’s good friends who was referencing an article that compared the two quarterbacks and talked about Manning’s decline.

Uh, Tom, you do know that you’re just one year younger than Peyton, right?

Looks like it doesn’t matter if the two are on the gridiron against one another or talked in a column about their careers, they’ll throw zingers to talk shit whenever they can to prove one’s better than the other.
