Indiana University, home of the bluest of blood in the entire college basketball world, was not invited to participate in the NCAA Tournament or National Invitational Tournament. They turned down an offer to play in the College Basketball Invitational because, in the words of athletic director Fred Glass:
“We’re Indiana. We don’t play in the CBI.”
So that’s it. That’s the end of the Hooisers’ season. They’ll watch postseason hoops at home on the couch just like the rest of us.
Indiana faithful curious about coach Tom Crean’s reflections on the year were then treated to this gem:

On the surface, this reads like a pretty dismissive tweet. But then again, who among us has to sift through a mountain of mentions pointing out that you suck at your job. I mean, I do, but the average person … wouldn’t want any part of that.
Plus, look at his face. Who could possibly be mad at his face?
