Tom Holland and his brothers drew the lucky straw to get paired with Jon Rahm at the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am in Surrey, England. The Spider-Man actor was in complete awe of Jon Rahm’s ability to launch the golf ball, as is anyone who watches Rahm swing a club up close.

This is the final ‘tune-up’ so to speak for DP World Tour golfers before the Ryder Cup in Rome at the end of the month as most of the players will be traveling and practicing together next week. Jon Rahm finished Friday tied for 16th after firing off a -5 round of 67.

They met before the round. Holland showed off his golf swing and was dialed in.

Hearing Spider-Man tell him how his whole family sat down to watch Rahm win The Masters must’ve been a pretty surreal moment for Jon.

Tom Holland getting his first good look at Jon Rahm ripping a drive is incredible. His reaction is exactly how every amateur golfer reacts the first time they see a pro stripe the ball off the tee.

As for Tom Holland’s skills on the course, he is a 5.4 index. And when playing in a 2021 Pro-Am with Padraig Harrington, Padraig bet Tom if he hit driver off the deck (no tee) from 260-yards out and made it on the green that Holland would be given a spot on the European Ryder Cup Team.

The story goes that Tom attempted the shot and didn’t get on the green, thus sparing Harrington of the pain of having to go back on his word.
