Tommy DeVito fever is sweeping across New Jersey, as evidenced by an autograph event that the New York Giants quarterback held in NJ town of Wayne last night.
On Tuesday night, DeVito hosted an autograph event at Primo Hoagies in Wayne, New Jersey, and fans were seen lining up around the block to get their white tank tops signed.
According to Jordan Raanan, an ESPN reporter who covers the Giants, the “Line wrapped around building at Primo Hoagies in Wayne, hundreds deep, people having shoes signed, asking him to sign the name Tommy Cutlets, bringing white tank tops for autographs, taking endless pics with 🤌.”

DeVito, perhaps unsurprisingly, grew up in New Jersey and attended Don Bosco Preparatory High School, one of the premier high school football programs in the country.
After high school, DeVito committed to Syracuse University, where he played for three years before transferring to the University of Illinois. Following the 2022 season, DeVito entered the NFL Draft and was ultimately signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent.
Since being installed as the team’s starting QB following injuries to Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor, DeVito has compiled a 2-1 record and has completed 63% of his passes for 697 yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions.
With both Jones and Taylor out for the year, DeVito is going to get the final five games of the Giants 2023 season to prove he’s either the team’s next starting quarterback, a competent backup to Daniel Jones, or perhaps a player that another team would be interested in acquiring.
Currently sitting in 3rd place in the NFC East with a record of 4-8, the Giants will take on the Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles (twice), and Los Angeles Rams to close out their 2023 campaign. During Week 13, the Giants will be hosting the Green Bay Packers for Monday Night Football.
