In case you somehow missed it, on Tuesday night the Dallas Mavericks are honoring long-time Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo’s retirement by letting be a part of the team on a one-day contract.

Romo will be on the bench tonight as the Mavs take on the Denver Nuggets as ESPN first reported last week…

With starting point guard Seth Curry ailing in recent days and officially out for the rest of the season because of a shoulder ailment, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has said on multiple occasions over the past week that the club would be looking to add “a pass-first point guard” before playing out the season’s final five days.

While Romo is unlikely to see any actual game action, he actually has a little game as Caron Butler shared a photo of himself and Romo from high school…

Today, during practice Romo even knocked down a smooth jumper which, of course, everyone but the man guarding him loved…
