Scary scene during the third stage of the Tour de France this morning as 20 riders were involved in a high-speed pile up after William Bonnet crashed near the front of the peloton. According to Cycling Weekly, several riders were forced to abandon the race, including overall leader Fabian Cancellara, whose race is officially over due to two fractured vertebrae. The riders were reported to be going 26 mph at the time of the crash.
