The Atlanta Hawks currently sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference as of this posting. They’re in the running as one of the better teams in the east, despite having a roller coaster of a season so far. Trae Young rumors hit the news cycle on Monday, as it’s speculated he’s not on good terms with head coach Nate McMillan. Now, Young finds himself arguing with a reporter over the matter.

Zach Klein was adamant about finding out the true reason why Trae Young sat out Friday’s game against the Denver Nuggets. The Hawks’ star point guard refused to share that information. Instead, Young maintained how he doesn’t like that “a private situation” became public.

So, maybe he is feuding with the Hawks’ head coach. Maybe he’s not. Nate McMillan hasn’t said much about the situation either. In the end, these Trae Young rumors are kind of picking up steam. Especially considering he and the organization are doing everything possible to keep it under wraps.

Either way, Trae Young is playing extremely well when he’s on the court. There’s a reason why Atlanta is right in the mix early on in the season. The sooner the Hawks’ head coach can resolve whatever is going on with his star point guard, the sooner the team can get back to focusing on the games at hand.
