The NBA trade deadline is just hours away as teams across the league finalize deals left and right.

With that in mind, the Portland Trail Blazers made another deal to replace Josh Hart after their trade with the New York Knicks.

According to Chris Haynes, Portland is acquiring Matisse Thybulle from the Philadelphia 76ers in a three-team trade.

Legion Hoops shares the full details of the trade.

Essentially, the Trail Blazers replace Hart with Thybulle, who is a similar talent with better potential.

Additionally, Portland was able to acquire more future assets by also receiving Cam Reddish and a potential first round pick in their trade with the Nets.

The Trail Blazers got younger while gaining more future assets. It’s a pretty smart move for this team. Although, it doesn’t necessary increase their title hopes this year.

Regardless, Blazer fans seem excited about the Mattisse Thybulle trade.

With the rest of the Western Conference focusing on offense, the Trail Blazers are focusing on defense.

Mattisse Thybulle could really thrive in Portland.

Some fans aren’t too fond of this trade.

Either way, the Trail Blazers have some new young faces on the roster. They’ll likely remain competitive this year. However, with the youth on the team now, they should only improve moving forward.
