The Kansas City Chiefs were able to overcome the Las Vegas Raiders in what turned out to be an incredibly close game. Patrick Mahomes looked like his normal elite self and fed Travis Kelce all night long. So much so, that the star tight end made NFL history on Monday Night Football.

Travis Kelce Breaks Wild Record Amid Chiefs Big Win Over Raiders

According to NFL Research, “Travis Kelce is the first player in NFL history with four receiving touchdowns of fewer than 10 yards in a single game.” It was a sight to behold, as Mahomes sought after Kelce every time they were in the red zone.

Travis Kelce had an amazing game. There is no doubt about that. It’s just bonkers that he only accumulated 25 total yards off of seven receptions. Typically when someone has a four-touchdown game they also have an insane amount of yards. However, the Chiefs star is clearly a proponent of the phrase “less is more.”

What makes this performance even more amazing is that Kelce still looks like he’s in his prime. At 33 years old, you would think his abilities would start dipping. Instead, he is still playing like the best tight end in the NFL by a wide margin.

It’s hard to imagine seeing anyone break Travis Kelce’s record anytime soon. The Chiefs will continue to rely on him throughout the season, as he’s the best weapon within scoring distance the NFL has to offer. Look for him and Patrick Mahomes to continue lighting up the field all year long.
