It was an NFL Sunday dominated by news of Taylor Swift joining Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna, in a luxury suite at Arrowhead Stadium to watch her now-confirmed beau Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs dominate the Chicago Bears, 41-10. And, lucky patrons at an upscale Kansas City restaurant believe they had their meal paid for by Taylor and Travis in truly a dinner to remember.
University of Kansas student Gabby Tappan spoke with BroBible just before midnight CT on Sunday to tell us all about a truly unforgettable dining experience.
“We were there for my friends 22nd birthday, and they told us they had a “hard close” at 8 pm, handed us to-go boxes and told us politely that we had to leave. I asked if it was for Taylor and they said all smiley “we can’t confirm or deny” but then kept making jokes and said they’d tell her we said hi haha. The restaurant let us go downstairs to their other restaurant and we sat there to finish our meal. Then some of her security guards sat behind us. We tried going up the stairs bc they shut down the elevators to see if we could get in but we couldn’t haha. so crazy!!”
The restaurant in question appears to be Kansas City hot spot Prime Social, with the downstairs restaurant being the upscale Ocean Prime.
Taylor Swift is known to like sushi, and she’s in luck, as prime social is considered arguably the top place in Kansas City to get sushi. And, yeah, it’s pretty pricey. I’m thinking her and Travis Kelce can handle the tab of all the patrons many times over.
