An interesting trend is coming to light surrounding an angry Trey Palmer, and sports bettors are beginning to cash in. The Bucs wide receiver finds the endzone almost every time he wakes up “p—ed off.”

The hilarious tendency dates back to his time in college, and it’s continued into the NFL.

Dan Gaspar of RotoGrinders, a daily fantasy sports community, took note of Palmer’s past performance on days where he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed.

Before last week (maybe a bit of a heat check), Trey Palmer has scored a TD every time he’s woken up pissed off.

11/19/22 (NCAAF) – 4 receptions, 47 yards, 2 touchdowns
11/25/22 – 9/165/2

10/1/23 (NFL) – 2/6/1
12/31/23 – 4/84/1

The dates seem to check out!

Sure enough, the Tampa Bay wideout woke up angry ahead of a Monday night playoff matchup with Philadelphia and later went on to score.

That’s been an occurrence in each of the Bucs’ last three games – though he was unable to tally a touchdown in the regular season finale with Panthers. Still, 3-out-of-4 ain’t bad!

And what makes the trend even more riveting is that the opposite has been proven true, too.

With the exception of one game this season, if Trey Palmer doesn’t tweet that he’s angry, he fails to find paydirt. The lone touchdown scored by a content Palmer came in the season opener versus Minnesota.

Bettors that caught onto the coincidence have cashed in.

Just last week, he was +450 for an anytime score, allowing bettors to quadruple their money with a 56-yard third quarter TD reception against Philly.

Maybe something to keep an eye on with the Bucs taking on the Lions next weekend?

The conditions will be in his favor with the game taking place indoors, and he’s seemed to have a proclivity for waking up mad over the last month.

Might be time to put those notifications on for Palmer’s X account!
