Welp, as everyone knows by now, the fight we speculated would take place on August 26th is official. Floyd Mayweather will actually box UFC champion Conor McGregor. The fight will take place in Las Vegas and be held at either the MGM Grand Garden or the T-Mobile Arena. All the T’s have been crossed and the I’s dotted and the Nevada Athletic Commission is fully on board. The fight will be aired on Showtime pay-per-view and is expected to rake in over $600 million.
Not everyone is excited for the fight, however. Legendary boxing trainer Teddy Atlas thinks the whole thing is stupid.
