Believe it or not, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill had another huge game against the Giants on Sunday. He continues to be one of the best pass-catchers in the league.
Opposing defenses simply do not have an answer. They try to stop him. They can’t.
New York was no different.
Hill went for a game-high 181 yards and a touchdown on eight catches. He also became the fastest player in the NFL by reaching a top speed of 22 miles per hour, which is downright ridiculous.
His lone score was also very nice.
Hill got out in front of the Giants secondary and caught a 69-yard bomb from Tua Tagovailoa for six. It was so wide open that he started to celebrate at the 25-yard-line and hit the defense with his signature ‘deuces’ at the 10.
As soon as Hill crossed the goal line, his focus was on finding his mother. Anesha Sanchez was cheering on her son from somewhere in the stands just beyond the end zone and he wanted to get her the ball.
Hill eventually found his mom. He cleared the crowd like Moses parting the red sea, pointed to his mother and flipped her the ball.
However, a man in the front row picked off the pace.
Hill’s mother let the man know that the ball was not for him. She popped off!
You can see her saying “I’m his mom,” at which point the man realized that he had made a big mistake.
Tyreek Hill wanted to get his momma the ball. His first attempt was unsuccessful, but she was not having it and made sure that the ball ended up in her hands. It made for an incredibly awkward and hilarious sequence. The man who picked off the pass was horrified, even though he was able to laugh it off. And you just know that his group chat is POPPING all afternoon.
