Tyson Fury’s daughter, Venezuela, has responded to people who criticized her for getting married at the age of 16 and her dad for letting it happen.
The teenager and her new husband, Noah Price, 19, received criticism for numerous things, including their ages, when they got married.
First, there was the $7 million Venezuela Fury received as a wedding gift from her parents, Tyson and Paris. There was also the $40,000 honeymoon trip they were given. And her $53,000 wedding dress, which she accentuated with white Crocs and sunglasses – two other things that people criticized her for. There was also the fact that she walked down the aisle to The Notorious B.I.G. song Juicy.
Then there was the whole age thing. Perhaps Tyson Fury didn’t mind his daughter being so young since he became engaged to her mother Paris when she was just 17-years-old and he was 20.
This week, Venezuela Fury and her husband, boxer Noah Price, appeared on This Morning to address their many critics.
“I think as long as it’s not my family or my friends, they’re the most people of what matters to me, I ain’t bothered,” the 16-year-old said.
“I don’t like people being unkind, I don’t agree with it. You know, like, spreading badness where they shouldn’t be. But yes, I am young, but I’ve found the person I want and I’ve carried on with my life. Everyone’s got to start somewhere, so I started young.”
But, what about the Crocs and sunglasses?
Venezuela Fury said she is “tall anyway” so she just took her heels off and wore Crocs instead. Pretty simple.
As for the sunglasses? “Me and my dad cried our eyes out on the morning, so we had the glasses on,” she said.
Now, Venezuela is just enjoying married life and perhaps starring in a reality TV show.
“I’m learning new things every day. I’m learning how to cook. We go everywhere together. We do everything together. It’s really nice.”
She added, “I would love to [have my own reality show], we’re trying to look in to it and I think it would be really great.”
