It Wouldn’t Be the U.S. Open If Roger Federer Weren’t Hitting Through the Legs Trick Shots

There are many signs which indicate fall is upon us. A brisk breeze in the air, the grunts and huts emanating from the nearby JV football field, pumpkin-flavored coffee bevs, and Roger Federer, at the U.S. Open, nailing backwards, through-the-legs shots.

This gem came yesterday in his match against Marinko Matosevic. Matosevic so thoroughly thought he had Federer beat that he stopped watching the point.

Federer made him pay for that, by both winning the point and … well, press play.

Ouch.

Nothing will ever top this one, though.
