The UFC has addressed the suspicious betting line from this weekend’s UFC event.
On Saturday, many fans noticed that the betting line in the Isaac Dulgarian-Yadier del Valle fight moved suddenly before the start of the fight.
I’m hearing the Isaac Dulgarian and Yadier Del Valle fight has been pulled from some books. The line has gone from -250 all the way down to -166. Which means a crazy amount of money has come in on Del Valle in the last couple hours. #UFCVegas110

Dulgarian, initially a -250 favorite, lost in the first round of the fight, leading to fans to question if the fight had been fixed.

Dulgarian has since been released by the UFC, and the company released a statement promising a “thorough review” into the betting line to figure out what happened.
“Like many professional sports organizations, UFC works with an independent betting integrity service to monitor wagering activity on our events. Our betting integrity partner, IC360, monitors wagering on every UFC event and is conducting a thorough review of the facts surrounding the Dulgarian vs. del Valle bout on Saturday, November 1. We take these allegations very seriously, and along with the health and safety of our fighters, nothing is more important than the integrity of our sport.”
It appears that the UFC is attempting to avoid a betting scandal similar to the one the NBA is currently facing.
