I love me some unique football uniform designs just as much as the next guy, but when Under Armour unveiled their latest line up for the 2016 season something didn’t sit right with me. The company brought on Wisconsin, Yale and Notre Dame this year, so at their first-ever Collegiate Design and Innovation Showcase they decided to give the people what they wanted, some free porn. Uniform porn, that is.
While the designs Under Armour showcased form Wisconsin and Yale were pedestrian, their “Shamrock Series” uniforms for Notre Dame were interesting to say the least and to say it in the nicest way possible.
Truthfully, I like ND to keep things classic. These are far from it. And for some reason they remind me of something you’d wear to play paintball in the woods, if you weren’t a proud owner of camouflage.
