LeBron James found himself alone in the trenches against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. LeBron put on a valiant effort, but without a supporting cast his Cleveland Cavaliers (What was left of them) lost to the Warriors in six games. Nike congratulated James for his warrior-like effort that just came up short with the advertisement you see above.
Some people found the ad to be weak and coined the marketing as “Excuses.” However a fan saw the possibility to mock King James with an Under Armour spoof ad featuring NBA MVP, Steph Curry. Why, why couldn’t Under Armour had done this ad to mess with the big boys? Still very funny nonetheless.
